Unsure whether a career in care is the path for you?

Care experience is not essential as we offer a full induction and regular training to equip you with the skills and confidence to carry out your role, as well as regular training and support throughout your career with us.

If you are trying to decide whether a career in care is the path for you, you could complete the online, interactive video challenge ‘A Question of Care’, which lets you consider how you would handle real life scenarios in the social care sector and helps you build a personal profile based on your values and attitudes.

SOME KIND WORDS FROM CURRENT RESIDENTS
As always you and your team have been fantastic in allaying our concerns about our son. Such good ideas, for example, social stories and visual timetables mean so much. The Lodge is going to be at the forefront of the local community and we are so lucky that you have been instrumental in this transition.
We never thought our son would wash a car, WOW, that’s amazing and a milestone in his development in becoming an adult, such a simple but meaningful activity.
We were so impressed to look around The Lodge, it is so professional, organised and vibrant. We had visited many services and were beginning to give up hope but now we can’t think of anywhere better for our son and we are, after many years of disappointment, we are actually looking forward to his future.
The staff are great they really know me and help me. My key-worker has helped me to access behavioural therapy (CBT) and now I don’t worry so much at all and I can get on with enjoying my life.
Wow what a lovely house love the chalkboards, activity & meal planners everything is so well organised.
